The podcast began four seasons ago at a counselor's observation of "I wish I could put your brain in front of my clients." Mequell realized that many could benefit from a forum where questions could be submitted and answered quickly. Her guy, an attorney by trade, joins her and brings a balanced perspective since managing mental illness is best done as a group effort. The podcast is now heard all over the world in 48 countries which is slightly more than the initial audience of her cousins.
